Exploring Polymer Science with a Focus on Wood Valorisation
We are pleased to invite you to the 23rd Baltic Polymer Symposium (BPS 2025), which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, on October 1–3, 2025. This year, the symposium is organized by the TalTech Wood Valorisation HUB, bringing a unique emphasis on the role of polymer science in sustainable material development.
Continuing the tradition since its inception in 2001, the Baltic Polymer Symposium serves as a key meeting point for academic researchers, PhD and MSc students, industry professionals, and developers engaged in polymer science and engineering. While maintaining its broad international appeal, BPS 2025 will introduce dedicated sections on wood valorisation—covering mechanical, chemical, and biochemical valorisation, as well as wood analytics—to highlight the potential of bio-based materials in a circular economy.
The symposium will feature cutting-edge research in polymeric materials and composites, conductive polymers, electrochemistry and photochemistry of polymers, organic materials and devices, and polymer recycling and sustainability. It offers a dynamic platform for scientific exchange, networking, and fostering collaborations between academia and industry.
Whether you are a honored researcher, an early-career scientist, a developer innovating in polymer technologies, or an industry sponsor seeking collaboration opportunities, we welcome you to join us in Tallinn for three days of insightful discussions and new discoveries at the Baltic Polymer Symposium 2025!
